SupportCamo was originally founded by an army wife and mother who soon realized how many others that served with her husband and son went so long without a letter of encouragment or packages sent with care. Troops are putting their lives on the line, yet so many have no means of support being returned to them while those of us back home slept in the comfort of our warm beds, enjoying the freedoms they were out fighting for.

It started with sending an extra couple packages of toiletries topped off with baggies of homemade cookies, and has turned over time into a labor of love. The idea was then set in place to open a shop selling items customized in military theme, using the profits from that to fund the growing number of packages being sent out each month. From there it has grown tremendously, touching more than initially imagined, yet still so many more needing to be reached. We embrace the support we have received from so many, and can only hope to grow that much more, allowing us to reach yet another in uniform, so they know just how much they really are supported by those of us back here at home awaiting their return.

There are so many useful websites out there, such a wealth of information, and we're doing our best with this website to gather some of those resources here to meet the needs of family members of those who serve. We strive to make this an ongoing effort, but as we all know, the best type of support is hands on.

Knowing this, we use 100% of all donations made through our website, as well as 100% of all profit made through our store, to put together care packages of toiletries and snacks, to buy and send cards of comfort, and donate items such as calling cards to families to keep in contact with their loved one overseas. We also donate supplies to organizations and schools that put together projects that aim to comfort and encourage those deployed.

Our organization is run strictly by volunteers that have their own loved ones serving. If you are looking for ways and are in a position to help, we welcome your support with open arms.
